A team of students in front of APLE Pop-Up Lab Banja Luka – Ivan Bojanić and Anja Savić – have attended the round table “Vučko the Architect: Reconnecting with Sarajevo’s Olympic Spirit” on 20.4.2024. in Sarajevo, in the Studio of Urban Design, as a side event of the NEB (New European Bauhaus) Festival in Brussels. The theme of this satellite event was the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the 14th Winter Olympic Games through an overview of Sarajevo’s Olympic heritage, as well as its values and potential as part of the New European Bauhaus, a creative and interdisciplinary initiative of the European Union that connects the European Green Deal with our living environment.
Our student duo held the presentation “Red kiosk as a showroom of APLE Pop-Up Lab Banja Luka“, during which they presented the APLE Pop-Up Lab together with the previous activities in it as part of the KSP67 experiment, as well as future activities. In addition to presenting, the team also attended presentations by architects from Ireland, the Netherlands, the USA and Switzerland, as well as presentations by other domestic architects and experts from related disciplines from Banja Luka, Sarajevo and Mostar.
