ACQA – UBL survey

With the aim of achieving sustainable and systematic cooperation between schools of architecture in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro on the one hand, and experts from practice in the field of architecture on the other hand, the APLE project proposes and tests different communication tools, which will be adapted for use in specific situations.

The partner of the APLE project, the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy of the University of Banja Luka, tested several of these tools in the period April-June 2023.

Communication tool: STUDY TRIP

The pivotal factor in fostering effective interaction and learning throughout the trip is the deliberately relaxed and informal atmosphere. This environment encourages openness and ensures accessibility for all participants. Such an ambiance is established through direct, immediate, or subsequent communication among the trip attendees.

Short-term outcomes manifest as prompt feedback, capturing the impressions of the journey. This feedback is then disseminated through various channels.

On the other hand, the enduring impact materializes over time, characterized by

heightened interest in education, collaborative initiatives, projects, and the arrangement of new study trips in diverse form.

Communication tool: PUBLIC PRESENTATIONS

Interaction is realized through a dialogue with the participants of the presentation through Q&A after each presentation or after a group of presentations, and with final comments.

  • digital transcript of the presentation (discussion),
  • report on the held presentation,
  • subsequent written comments of the guest-critic and
  • questionnaires

Communication tool: EXHIBITIONS

Interaction is realized in several ways, in direct contact with visitors in a 1:1 relationship, through professional guidance through the exhibition, or indirectly through means of communication before, during and after the exhibition. Key moments for interaction are the opening of the exhibition, specially organized events during the exhibition, and media appearances before and after the event.

  • media reports,
  • professional reviews,
  • public criticism and
  • comments on social media.
